I enjoy working with clay because it is a medium that has endless possibilities which pushes creativity. I primarily work on the wheel because I like how you need to be steady and intentional. You need to "centered" yourself in order to center your clay. I like carving geometric patterns in the clay, often inspired by South Asian motifs. Most of my pieces are inspired by the personalities of the people in life (probably because I studied psychology most of my life). At the end of the day, I just enjoy the process of making something and sometimes I end up with something I really like!
